  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) soy sauce

  • 30 g (1 cup) Thai basil leaves
  • 200 ml (ยพ cup) full-fat coconut milk
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) lime zest
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) lime juice
  • 15 g (2 tbsp) toasted shredded coconut
  • A few basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep Ingredients: Mince garlic, slice chilies, zest lime, and juice lime.
  2. Sautรฉ Aromatics: Heat oil, sautรฉ garlic, chilies, and shallot until fragrant.
  3. Cook Chicken: Add chicken, break it up, and cook until no longer pink.
  4. Build Flavor: Stir in fish sauce, soy sauce, and palm sugar.
  5. Prepare Swirl: Simmer coconut milk, lime zest, and lime juice until thickened.
  6. Wilt Basil & Swirl: Add basil, wilt briefly, and swirl in coconut-lime sauce.
