- 2 g (ยฝ tsp) Smoked Paprika
- 1 Large Egg (โ50 g)
- 50 g (ยฝ cup) Plain Breadcrumbs: Panko works well
- 60 ml (ยผ cup) Whole Milk
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) Olive Oil, for Searing
- 100 g (3ยฝ oz) Cream Cheese, Softened
- 50 g (ยฝ cup) Shredded Mozzarella
- 10 g (2 tbsp) Fresh Parsley, Finely Chopped
- 5 g (1 tbsp) Fresh Chives, Finely Chopped
- 300 g (2 medium) Yellow Onions, Thinly Sliced
- 30 g (2 tbsp) Unsalted Butter
- 15 g (1 tbsp) All-Purpose Flour
- 250 ml (1 cup) Halal Beef Broth
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) Halal-Certified Worcestershire Sauce
- 10 ml (2 tsp) Soy Sauce (Halal)
- 5 g (1 tsp) Fresh Thyme Leaves
- Fresh Parsley Leaves, for Garnish
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) Herb Oil (parsley & chives)
Instructions
- Chill Cheese Cores: Combine cream cheese, mozzarella, parsley, and chives; form into balls and chill for 15 minutes.
- Mix Meat: Gently combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, egg, breadcrumbs, and milk.
- Form Steaks: Flatten meat, enclose cheese, and reshape into oval patties.
- Sear Steaks: Sear in olive oil for 3-4 minutes per side, then cook 5-6 minutes until 71ยฐC (160ยฐF).
- Caramelize Onions: Cook onions in butter over medium-low heat for 10-12 minutes.
- Make Gravy: Stir in flour, then gradually whisk in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and thyme; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Combine & Simmer: Return steaks to gravy, simmer for 2 minutes.
- Plate & Garnish: Serve with gravy, herb oil, and parsley.
